As a singer/ songwriter, actress and broadcast media professional, JoEmma Danini (Vomvolakis) displayed her artistic talents since early childhood. In 1994, JoEmma played the role of Maria, a teenager in the United States and her adventures with six other teens; she participated in 105 episodes that aired nationally on TV Azteca for the Telesecundaria English Series. In 1998 JoEmma attended El Conservatorio Nacional de Música de Puebla and in 2000, she was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, in Boston, Massachusetts, where she pursued a degree in Film Scoring.

In 2005, JoEmma received her first calling to write music and sing for the Lord as her father, Juan Jose Ureña presented her with the invitation to create an album on the Seven Sacraments.

Upon moving to Miami that same year, JoEmma received her second calling to ministry as she became a lead cantor for St. Francis de Sales in Miami Beach.

In December 2006, the Lord called JoEmma to expand her ministry as she began working for Pax Catholic Communications where she shared her talents for the next few years as an on-air TV and radio host for Radio Paz Musical’s El Top Ten, Spirit Online Radio’s News Flash, TelePaz’s Viva la Vida, and Radio Paz 830am’s Tu Iglesia Hoy.

Since then, all other secular aspirations have disappeared as her love for the Lord and her faith have called her to answer and deepen her call to ministry. In the last 15 years, JoEmma has served as a music director, cantor and youth minister in several parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Miami including St. Charles Borromeo St. Joseph, St. Agustine, St. Helen, Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Gregory the Great, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Vincent and presently, as the music director for St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Davie, FL.

JoEmma is currently working on her upcoming album entitled “Breathe Into Me” and her Masters in Catechetics and Evangelization from Franciscan University as well as her Liturgy Certification from the University of Notre Dame.
